Behind the Keyboards: Sara

My name is Sara and I am the Marketing and Sales Manager for Daiva RV Resorts. I live in Hamilton with my husband, our 5 year old son, and a very senior rescue dog named Barley.

Growing up, both of my parents were teachers and we spent our summers camping in our pop-up Starcraft trailer. We camped at Provincial parks here in Ontario and travelled across Canada from BC to PEI, as well as along the eastern United States.

I also spent a lot of time at my grandparents' cottage on Amherst Island, a small island in Lake Ontario, west of Kingston. 

At Daiva I wear many hats and handle everything from our social media and website to advertisements, events, consignment listings and more. I come from an art and design background, and I tend to think very visually in my work. 

My favourite outdoor activity is sitting around the campfire on a clear night, watching the stars and enjoying the company of friends and family. I’m happy to continue supporting and promoting our Daiva parks and encouraging people to get outside in nature.
